The Gathering exists because the systems weren't built for how many of us actually work, live and think. So we're building something that is.

Ever wish there was an off-grid retreat home (just like the image you see on the homepage) where you can rest, co-work, co-learn and co-live with other like-minded women? Same. The Gathering is that space. It is where women show up, settle in, and tap on The Gathering’s 4 Cs (scroll below to see what they are) to start afresh and build what comes next, or continue working on what you’re already committed to.
The Gathering is for the woman who is doing what she’s supposed to do or has achieved what she was supposed to, and is wondering what it’s all for. She is intelligent, she cares about the world and she is ambitious— but her ambition has shifted from status to meaning. She is navigating burnout, loneliness or the exhausting gap between success and fulfilment. And she is done navigating it alone. That’s us. If that’s you too, get on the waitlist now.
We’re working on four spaces in total progressively: The Cave, The Salon, The Public Library and The Directory. The Cave holds our body-doubling Sessions for co-working and co-living. The Salon holds our Special Events. There will be a Calendar function once you’re onboarded so you can easily book these Sessions.
The Public Library and The Directory are slow works-in-progress—we want you to have access to vetted resources, institutions and service providers who are not only neurodiversity-informed, but specialise in serving women. These will feature our own work, as well as the same folks we partner with for Special Events (weekly group support, anyone?) Write to us if you want to explore a partnership.
Once we hit a minimum of 30 Founding Member applications, our small human team will start looking through and replying to each application. In the meantime, we'll send necessary updates on the build, including when we plan to launch beta, to whom and why.
As The Gathering is human-led and moderated for community safety, we'd love to hear from you if you have experience in leading virtual body doubling and training sessions. When applying, tick that box expressing your interest to be a Community Guide. Training will be provided if your application comes through.
How we think about growth

Our operating principles
Honesty
We try not to exaggerate and overpromise. And if we do so by accident, Founding Members will get the opportunity to share it with us in Office Hours Sessions we hope to plant in the calendar so we can hang out and hear you out.
Integrity
We hold on to our values even when it costs us reach. The work comes before the metrics. That said, we hope the work helps provide for us, our loved ones and whoever needs it most. If we happen to get rich, whatever we don't need goes back into the work; into the community—one way or another.
Inspiration
We elevate the women we serve—not by telling them who to be, but by creating the conditions for them to find out.
Humanity
We treat members as whole people, not users. We try to maintain that every design decision, every piece of communication and every space is held to this standard.
